Mr. Stephen Gong is Regional Manager, Innovara China . Based in Shanghai , Mr. Gong is responsible for representing all Innovara services to and coordinating major consulting projects for its clients in China . In addition, Mr. Gong directly provides sales and management development and medical marketing consulting services. Mr. Gong provides services mainly in the Mandarin language or in English.

Prior to joining Innovara, Mr. Gong worked in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently for Aventis Pharma China in sales, sales management, and training. He was successful not only in sales, sales management, and business development, but also in hospital promotions, business development, distribution management, government affairs partnership, key account management, sales force management, professional training and development of the sales force.

In addition to his China responsibilities, Mr. Gong serves as a liaison on behalf of Innovara’s clients, some of the leading medical hospitals and medical schools in the USA and around the globe, for whom he organizes and manages educational and strategic alliances with leading medical institutions in China.

A dynamic trainer and consultant, Mr. Gong has more than 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical and related health care industries in China . He has significant experience in merging sales organizations and related HR issues resulting from company mergers and re-organization as well as managing cross-cultural businesses in China . Mr. Gong holds a degree in microbiology from Nanjing Medical University and MBA degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
